My Super-Simple Gmail Improvement Idea (ps - Google please hire me)

Notice the two circled buttons from gmail.  This has always sort of bugged me and I thought I'd share it with you and see if:

  1. I'm on to something or
  2. I'm crazy
I propose that the word "now" should be moved to the "send" button so that these two buttons read "send now" and "save" - because, in my mind, saving a draft is associated with a "later" activity and sending an email is a "now" activity.

This has caused me to click the send button when I meant to save maybe 50 times during the last 3 years.

What do you think?

It automatically saves drafts for you....so when I am typing a really long email or making lists to myself, and I get freaked out that my POS computer will shut off, I hit the save NOW button...as in, it was going to save it for me in the next minute or so, but I can do it now.

Maybe, they should just do away with to word 'now' all together. How about 'Send' and 'Save it for Later'. There - now if they hire you, they have to bring me too : )
